Personally, I chose Animas High School for many reasons. I first started out my freshman year at Durango High School and struggled academical and socially. After half a semester I switched to online school. But many aspects of the "High School Experience" were lacking from online school. I loved the hands on aspect of this school and the strong teacher student relationships. After the first day at Animas, I felt as if I found my spot. I have made many teacher student bonds that improve my learning and make learning fun. Personally, I love all aspects of Animas High School and finally enjoy coming to school to learn.
